JOB PURPOSE
Unitrans South Africa is looking for suitably qualified candidates to apply for the vacancy: Driver [x7 posts].
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare vehicles for a trip
- Operate heavy-duty vehicles
- Handle documentation from dispatch to the customer and back to the distribution Centre
- Perform vehicle inspection before and after the trip
- Takes full responsibility for the roadworthiness of the vehicle when leaving the Depot
- Account for all the goods that are being transported to the customer
- All other reasonable instructions from Supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4
- Valid PrDP – PrDP “D” if required to operate Dangerous Goods C
- Prepared to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Safe driving record and clean criminal record
