Brief Job Description:

The Ultrasound Radiographer is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations and providing preliminary findings to help physicians diagnose patients’ medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing ultrasound examinations using specialized equipment and techniques.
• Preparing patients for procedures and explaining the process.
• Taking accurate patient history and documenting any relevant information.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and complete testing.
• Providing preliminary findings to physicians and assisting in the treatment planning process.
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and ensuring proper handling of sensitive information.

Requirements:

• Valid certification as an Ultrasound Radiographer.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in performing ultrasound examinations.
• Knowledge of diagnostic imaging principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
