Receptionist: HR and General Support Services

About the Job
In this role, you will be responsible for providing front desk reception duties and offering administrative support to the HR department. You will ensure a positive and welcoming experience for all visitors, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and perform general clerical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to relevant departments
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Provide general administrative support such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
- Assist with HR tasks such as processing employee documents and maintaining employee records
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity
- Knowledge of basic HR processes and procedures is a plus

Additional Information:
Please note that this is a full-time position based in our office located in Johannesburg, South Africa. The selected candidate will be offered a competitive salary in ZAR and employment will be on a permanent basis.
