We are a leading institution in providing quality technical and vocational education and training in South Africa. As a Labour Relations Officer, you will be responsible for fostering positive working relationships, addressing employee grievances, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to labor relations
- Advise management on labor laws, regulations, and best practices
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances
- Provide guidance and support to management on employee disciplinary matters
- Participate in collective bargaining negotiations and contract administration
- Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Conduct investigations and prepare reports on labor-related issues
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in labor relations or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in labor relations
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Proficient in MS Office
