Director: Legal Services
Job Description:
We are currently hiring for the position of Director: Legal Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the legal team and providing legal advice and support to the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support to the organization
- Lead and manage the legal team
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Review and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Represent the organization in legal proceedings
- Develop and implement legal strategies and initiatives
- Monitor changes in legislation and advise on implications for the organization
Requirements:
- A degree in law
- Admission as an attorney or advocate
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of South African law
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and manage a team
