The Department of Infrastructure (DOI) is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Quantity Surveyor. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in quantity surveying to take on a leadership role.
Job Description
The Chief Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing all quantity surveying activities within the DOI. They will be required to manage a team of quantity surveyors, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time. The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing cost estimates and providing expert advice on cost control measures.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying
- A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
